Excuse me, what? You did this the who's way? I believe Sony was involved
somewhere along the way and Metallica moreso than ANY other band tried to
rape their fans for being fans (see Napter lawsuits).

I mean don't get me wrong, Bobby Trujillo is awesome but not because he's
part of Metallica.

Dave Mustaine left because he saw the direction of the band going WAY in
a direction he wasn't happy with. Thus he created Megadeth.

Cliff Burton sadly was killed in the bus wreck.

Jason Newsted, the bassist that got Metallica through from mostly ignored
metal band to over the top Metal Gods, left citing irreparable physical
damage to his body from his years with the band, then immediately joined
another band. Yes, no one has heard of him since, but that's entirely
beside the point.

WHY is Jason not honored with them? C'mon!

PS I suppose my enjoyment of playing Bass on Rock Band 2 could make
me biased but I've always said this about Jason Newsted.

EDIT: I stand corrected, Jason "Jasonic" Newsted has made one
hell of a go of it after Metallica...I just turned into an old
foggey and didn't keep up.
