So lots of stuff going on.
First, apologizes to
thessalian for the lack of Boggan Goodness.
"Aliments" of the ulcer and less savory tummy kind have plagued me until recently (read stopped last 2 days), as have oddities with connections, and the inability to actually get ahead at work (despite the fact that my Director has returned and theoretically my workload should have been cut by more than half).
The levels of stupidity to which grown, assumed-to-be-functional adults in my workplace "aspire" are a wonder to the world at large. That's all I can really get into but GAH! *steals a line from
halcyon_shift & FLAILS!*
And I have to open at work again as my Director (no issues here) has lengthy doctor's appointments...I suspect its post post birth stuff.
In possibly better news,
jedishadowolf has lined up a "consulting" job for me with a random patron from her Library. I am not complaining as he didn't balk at $20/hr rates but after one telephone conversation I could readily identify no less than three (3) mental instabilities with acutity. The level to which he has fallen with these issues may determine how much I work with him...as his first email referenced "this and future projects." The silver lining is extra money and I love my wife. ;)
In other news, Scion is alive and well. I even hear tell that a new book is coming or something. :) It's taken me forever as per to get this posted though I have proof that it was written before tonight (
baronsamedi &
jedishadowolf can back me up this time). Anyway, here's the latest installment of
The Smothering Journal (thanks once again to the awesome and amazing
wolfsdrager for helping me not be stupid and do cool things with PDFs). We play again tomorrow night, so sometime in the next two weeks there will be yet another update. I don't know how many people actual read this character journal, but I do hope those that do, gain enjoyment out of it. And yes, for those not in the game, Storm doesn't speak so properly and is no where near so serious and stuffy in person. He just figures that he's writing to 1) a God and 2) his Father, a God and 3) Zeus!, his Father, a God; thus he takes it very seriously. Being that he's been elevated to Demigod, Storm figures it's paying off.
Ask me about Transfats, Emulsifiers, and flinging balls of sticky white goo all over the kitchen!
