Meme Updates and Randomness
So I see two very hot and highly intriguing* women have matched my meme results. Real life backgrounds being what they are, this highly amuses me.
So I went to an annual *ahem* Records Management Workshop at 1:30 (which btw, filled half of one of the biggest conference rooms on campus). Can I have my hour and a half back? I mean really. I went with my Director last year and it was a useless waste of time. Said Director changed the way we boxed things, which was cool, but had little to do with the meeting. This year I was emailed info about it and rolled my eyes as I kept going. Then I got the same email forwarded from my Director asking "if" I could go? Well no shit I can go but why the fuck should I or anyone else from our office? We already follow more of a strict guideline for RM than almost anyone else in this rather sizable building. And it's easily recognizable to anyone that would just "stumble in." *coughcough auditors coughcough* So I'm not dumb enough not to take the hint and I RSVPed, damn it. I learned 1 useful bit of information that could have been fully covered in all aspects in three (3) sentences. The rest were lawyers from the University politely waving fingers and saying NoNo, then the Chief Security Officer equivalent for the University teaching a "Why you're stupid when you use the Computer 101" class. No shit I was expecting him to say, "and don't use God as your password." for a little while. He told us why firewalls and AV software won't protect us from us. Which is great for alot of people, but I have a BS and two (2) AAS degrees in computers. This was billed as a RM workshop. The head of RM spoke for 5...possibly 7 minutes...as introduction. WTF?!
So WoW tonight...good shit that. Likely be healing something during the first part of tonight and maybe be lucky enough to do a Big Run later on.
And before all that, I'm making Steak Lo Mein then giving jedishadowolf a foot and/or shoulder rub as needed. Cuz it's what I do.
