http://www.fox59.com/wxin-officer-david-moore-memorial-p-01252011,0,7901181.story I have been following this story since Officer David Moore was gunned down Sunday.
I am incredibly upset about all of it. It never should have happened.
"Human error" put the Son-of-a-B***h who shot him back on the street when he should have been behind bars. The failure of his Probation Officer to do what was necessary to lock up a habitual offender sickens me.
Officer Moore was a multi-generational Police officer, a good man, and very honorable.
The gutter-scum that shot him had a record longer then my arm and was free to wander around.
Officer Moore was performing a traffic stop, whichhad no idea who was behind the wheel, when he was ambushed; shot twice in the chest, and twice in the face.
Even though he was still struggling to survive, by Monday night I had an awful feeling that he wasn't going to make it...
I have very high respect and admiration for Police...so many people like to sit around and b***h about how they could do better or change things and yet don't have the balls to step up and do something about it...but those who become Police, do...and are willing to put their life on the line to protect someone they will never know; have never met.
Officer Moore...thank you so much for your hard work and dedication and for making the ultimate sacrifice to help make this world a better place. May your soul rest easy with the Old Ones and may your family be given the strength to carry on with the knowledge that you will always, always be protecting them.
