"Therapy," says Charlie, glancing up from his copy of the play. He tilts his head and looks at her for a long moment, taking in all the brass and buckles. "That is a fucking great dress, Helena."

Grinning, he straightens the edge of his waistcoat and tips her a wink. He shrugs.

"I don't know, you know? People need to talk. They need to know that someone's listening."

"I like it more than I like going to therapy myself," he says, with a little shrug. "My Mom sent me to my first psychiatrist when I was four. All that talking and I don't think any of them ever really listened to me."

"Yeah, but it's kind of the way it always goes." He flips through the pages of his notebook, looking for a blank one. "Adults never really know how to listen to kids properly."

"That's buillshit," says Charlie, fondly. He shakes his head. "Adults just act like they know what they're doing all of the time. They don't anymore than we do."

"You're just making fun of me," says Charlie, but he's smirking, too. "Not nice, Helena."

"Seriously, Helena," says Charlie, turning a page in his notebook. "People actually come in here to talk when I'm in here. So, either you want to talk or I probably need to think about seeing someone else."

"Then I guess I can't help you, Helena," he says, with a little shrug. "Some people need to talk, some people don't know how to. Some people just...need to know t hat someone's listening."
