Flying

Max feels pretty sure that he's supposed to still be scared after Halloween, and he wouldn't tell Bill or another grown-up because he'd probably get into trouble, but it was kind of awesome. There was this giant toy clown and it was totally scary and it was totally going to eat him but then Wolf came and he was like a super hero. He was like Jason but maybe not with as many cool flips and stuff but still. It was super awesome. And the new kid seems really cool, too. Max thinks maybe he knows Jason and he's not actually very nice at all but can do stuff that kids can't do back home. And  Sometimes it makes Max feel very ordinary and very small and his stories feel ordinary and small, but it's different here too, in a good way. It's not like back home with Claire's friends and his snow fort. It's easier to run wild and to holler and to feel the biggest emotions that he can come up with because big things happen here all the time. Everyone can see the monsters, not just him.

He's got energy to burn, today. Bill washed his wolf suit again and it just won't do. He doesn't stop until it's streaked with mud again and a little ripped and he feels like he could fly. He has an entire village to rescue, after all and the only way to do it is to jump on the back of the great dragon beast as it swoops back down. He swings higher and higher until his hood falls back and wind is whipping through his hair. The timing has to be just right. He has to jump in one....two....THREE!

He lets out a loud whoop as he hurls himself at the dragon's scaly back.

[ooc: Max has just leapt off the swing and is flying through the air. He'll be fine if your pup doesn't want to catch him. Open to all.]
