Stephanie has put it off for long enough. She's dragged her heels and procrastinated like it was her job, but now she's got a long afternoon free and no excuses. Time to be a grown up and do the responsible adult thing.
It's time to scrub their hut from top to bottom. Sweep the floor and then wash it, wipe down the walls, dust everything, and then get all the bedding up to the Compound to put through the laundry. Make the place livable, a home instead of just a temporary place to stay. She and Damian deserve that much and no one's going to do it for them.
She's serious about it. She's got a bandana tied over her hair, that's how serious she is about this cleaning business.
"Right," she says to herself with hands on her hips as she surveys the closet full of cleaning supplies. Selection was pretty good considering the tropical island location. Bucket, mop, broom, rags that used to be a bathrobe in another life, all your standard cleaning supplies. "Time to get to work."
