Sam was flying. Okay, technically he was floating, hovering at best, but it was still awesome. He'd awoken to find himself floating above his bed, then when he freaked out at realizing that had happened, he crashed through it

With the day getting weirder and weirder, I shouldn't have been surprised to see someone fall out of the sky like a meteor and make a crater on the ground. Shouldn't have, but was. In fact, I freaked out, thinking to myself, "ohmygod! ohmygod! Are you all right?"
Which is what I said, rushing forward, upon seeing Sam flat on his back on the ground. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Are you all right?"
[[OOC: You can hear Polly's thoughts. So, Polly in stereo!]]
Sam very carefully patted himself down, checking to make sure that everything worked, or at least was all there. He seemed to be okay, other than his clothes were completely ruined.
That was when someone ran up shouting. And then shouted again, the same thing. Blinking and waving away the dust, Sam saw a shape through the haze.
"Polly?" he asked, struggling to sit up. "I'm, actually I think I'm okay."
"Are you sure?" I said, thinking to myself, you've got to be kidding me. Look at the dent you left. But then it hit me. "So you've got powers too? Are you like Zell? Nothing can hurt you?"
I really hoped that this didn't include the ability to shoot smoke out his ears, or twirl with the speed of a Tazmanian Devil. The things Zell and I had shared this morning were unforgettable, but I could have done without those two parts.
"No, I'm not kidding," Sam said, shaking his head as he climbed out of the hole. It was only then that he realized that his... modesty was just barely covered. Awkwardly, he pulled the tatters of his shirt down to around his waist.
"And seriously, really I so, so do not need to know about what you and Zel did this morning."
I blinked, wondering for a half second what he was talking about. Then I thought "oh, damn!", probably much too loud. "Sorry," I said. "I'm affected too. People can hear my thoughts. It's been rather hard to control."
I'm still rather embarrassed at how publicly this power came to light, but I'm somewhat grateful that I cleared out quickly. Here, at least, Sam's a friend. Better he get some embarrassing details than Siefer, or perfect strangers.
"Zell's affected too," I added. "But he's having a lot more fun with it than I am."
"Okay, yeah, I guess it's my own fault that I have that stuck in my head now too," Sam said. He'd take that over a lot of things she could be broadcasting though.
"It's density manipulation, I can make myself as heavy or light as I want. Well, it's not exactly heavy or light, but you get the idea. And it's not an... exact process. Or one I have under control."
"It takes a while," I said. "I mean, look at me." Please, please something other than the Jeopardy theme? No? Darn! I turned back to Sam. "But at least you haven't hurt yourself. What about a rope? That way you can tie yourself to a tree so you don't get out of range."
Sam would gladly take the Jeopardy theme over many, many other things that could be running through Polly's mind at the moment. It must be hard to keep her thoughts focused and not wandering.
"I guess, but then I'm just a human balloon. I think using the ability to fly just isn't the smartest thing."
Which is what I said, rushing forward, upon seeing Sam flat on his back on the ground. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Are you all right?"

"Just, maybe keep a few songs on hand to sing through when your mind starts to go places people shouldn't know. I-"
He patted himself down again, surprised at how in tact he was.

Oh, crud. Not the Jeopardy theme. Not... Oh, well.
But, first things first. "So, what's your power? How did you end up crashing down like a meteor? Jumping, or flying?"
