The Doctor is in...

It's probably not totally professional of him. In fact, it's not. Professional. Still. What Charlie's got is tonnes and tonnes of experience of being sent to psychiatrists and what he knows is this: that, sometimes, you can talk and talk and still, people just aren't listening. And, when you're a kid, there's nothing worse. Charlie might be twenty on his next birthday but, sometimes, he still feels like a kid. And, sometimes, he still feels like nobody's listening. The other night, Neil told him that all of the pills that he took would make anyone feel crazy. Sometimes, Charlie wonders if, maybe, his Mom had a point.

But, sometimes, you just need someone who's willing to listen to you.

He's not really comfortable in the Psych office; he doesn't really feel like he belongs there. Back at school, the bathroom had seemed like the most logical choice; it was relatively private and there was no chance of a teacher walking in. On the island, it's force of habit that leads to him sticking the handwritten sign to the door. Maybe nobody'll come in and he'll end up sitting doodling in his notebook for hours. But maybe somebody'll see the sign and realise that there's somebody who'll listen. It's harder when you're younger, Charlie knows. It's harder when you think that nobody hears.

So maybe he'll just sit for a few hours and see what happens.
He settles into a stall with one foot against the wall and his notebook against his thigh.

The sign's on the door.
He can wait.

THE DOCTOR IS IN
(and ready to listen).

ooc: Charlie's holding session in the level two bathroom, opposite The Psych Office. Your pups can feel free to come to him with your problems (it's canon!) or they can give him shit. ST/LT welcome!
