Comedy over the centuries had changed quite a bit, and while Aidan might not have always been in the proper mindset to appreciate all types of comedy watching someone get poked in the eye and slapped in the face was always funny. As a vampire or human, the Stooges were hilarious.
Sure, old SNL clips were funny and when you had lived as long as Aidan he understood the political and topical ones from the very first season, but anyone could sit down and appreciate the Stooges.
So when the island seemed to be in a particularly kind mood, granting Aidan a few reels of some Stooges shorts, he had been wary of any ulterior motives but too excited to not take the chance to watch them. Consider how well the past week or so had gone for him though, he was willing to accept that maybe things were looking up for him.
While he never out and out laughed at the shorts, too long the stoic vampire to do that in public, he had a broad grin on his face the entire time they were showing. The current short was one of his favorites. The Stooges were busy building some sort of barricade on a door and hadn't noticed the people they were trying to keep out had come in a back door and were actually handing the Stooges more pieces to block the door with.
"A hundred years from now, that will still be hilarious," he said.
[In the Rec Room, watching Three Stooges clips. Good time to meet him.]
