So when he saw Gwaine, his face fell into a contemptuous sneer.
"Nice shoes," he said snidely as the man passed.
It was a simple insult, with barely thought put into it. He was just looking for a reaction, some sign that he could still get to people, and if the other man didn't give him one, then that would be the end of it.

Still that didn't stop his eyes narrowing slightly at being mocked.
"I do so love pretty shoes," he agreed, with a smile that was anything but friendly. "But I doubt you'll be able to keep any thought in your head for a whole day."

"Seifer," he replied. "And this place is dull enough, I wouldn't mind forgetting some of it myself."
Not that there was any risk of Seifer ever waking up wearing someone else's shoes.
