With a cool arch of her eyebrow, Felicia turns towards the person who had just run into her. Being jostled about had been typical for the New York scene, but here it happens less routinely than it had been in the city. Come to mention it, this guy had been one who had run into her. All she had been doing was stand by the bar, waiting for her turn to get a drink. Or to drink someone else's.

With a sly smirk on her face, one hand still resting on the bar, she laughs quietly. "You're excused," she quips dryly. "How's that?"

He's gone from abrasive to startled in a record number of seconds, his eyes widening in alarm as he presses a hand to his temple as if anticipating the screaming pain that this woman can bring. It takes a moment to remember that she is likely akin to him and has no ability here.

Still, he cannot truly help his step back. "What are you doing here?" he demands, aware that he cannot exert any physical threat against her in such a public setting, but wary of what she might do.

She may without her mutation, but Felicia isn't any less dangerous. Her tricks (cheap and otherwise) have been absent for months. Now she's just a girl standing at a bar, fully capable of drop kicking someone onto their back in less than thirty, but that's besides the point.

Staring at him, wondering if this man is being stupid on purpose or if there something more to the story. In the end she just plays along, figuring that's the best way to score a little intel."I'm guessing it's the same as what you're doing." she tilts her head, curious as to what he might say. "Ordering myself a drink, what does it look like?"

There is a slightly wild look to Erik's eyes that he strains to control in a panic of desperation. She mustn't know that she has the upper hand, especially if she doesn't recall him. "It looks as though you've the misfortune of being everywhere that I am, Miss Frost," he notes coolly.

"I wouldn't put it quite like that," she says the smirk still firmly in place as she shrugs slightly. Leaning forward, she gives a little wave in the direction of the bartender trying to entice him to come down and give her a drink.

"But I would say that you've got me all wrong. No offense to Emma, I'm certain I'm the prettier blonde." Felicia pauses, laughing quietly as she turns her head back towards him. "The natural one at least. But Little Miss In Your Head is long gone, sweetheart, if you're looking for her."

Erik breathes slightly easier at the news that she's gone (long gone, at that), but there is a residual sort of disdain and panic lingering around his eyes if one looked closely enough. "You look as though you could be sisters," he accuses, as though it's a grievous offense.

"I think you and I are discussing two different Emma Frosts." Felicia is wondering if this is one of those cases where the universes are close but not quite, much like the differences between the MJ that was here and the one she knew back home.

She shrugs off the accusation. "The one I knew looks nothing like me and used to run Xavier's School for Gifted Children. I am a little more under the radar than that."

"Charles' school?" Erik repeats with some of the most incredulous shock on his face that he thinks he's ever experienced. "Charles handing over control to her? Yes, I think that we do know very different women," he agrees, unable to shake the fact that they look strikingly similar. "And who are you, then?"

Someone who knew the bald professor. Felicia had met the man once, but she had never been a huge fan of those who could get inside other people's heads. That wasn't a skill that she envied, finding her own mind troublesome enough that adding any more voices to the crowd would have been a mess.

"Well, time's change," she says with an easy shrug. "Felicia Hardy. And you would be...someone, but who?"

"Erik Lehnsherr," he introduces himself and though she's introduced herself under a different name and their conversation has proved that she's hardly the same woman, his instinct still remains to keep distance between them. It's habit, but he suspects that it is one that he will never shake. "Someone, indeed," he adds, wryly.

The name that is being attached to his face surprises her, but Felicia's honed her poker face for long enough that it doesn't show. It's a little shocking, of course, to see that such a handsome face belongs to a future terrorist.

But then again, stranger things have happened. What is but another one of those?

"Indeed. Now I feel sort of bad for not recognising you, but stranger things."

Erik raises a brow, declining to comment on the fact that it seems as though everyone knows him though he's yet to meet a single soul that he knows. It's disconcerting, to say the least. "And how do we know each other?" he asks, his gaze roaming over her quickly and with a slight appraising edge.

"Let's just say that we have a few things in common. Certain circles, certain allies, certain enemies."

Any more detailed than that and it's going to cause a headache for them both. Felicia would like to avoid that happening.
