Slipping the fishnet fingerless gloves up her arm, Delirium hummed happily as she slid into comfortable and familiar clothes. The dress was sweet, pink but the rest of it was her. The fishnets, the boots stolen from a fallen angel and her family's silver sigils hanging around her hips rather than her neck tied to a rather colourful belt. She was sane or mostly sane, she wasn't as fractured as she had been when she had arrived on the island. It had been so long since the world had been a kaleidoscope of broken things. Now, it was just different.

Delirium had never liked change but Del, Del could get used to it. And just because she was whole or as whole as she could get that didn't mean she couldn't have a little fun. Like cutting up Stephen's suits (oh, Stephen) or waking Asher at ungodly o'clock or putting little bits of weird into the food. Just to see the looks on their faces.

Humming as she laced the apple fritters with boar bacon, Delirium wiped flour onto her cheek and blew her hair out of her face. She wished Stephen was here, she could go into graphic detail what she was going to do whilst he ran away screaming and crying for morals. She missed Stephen, she missed driving him insane. She needed a new victim, oh well for now she had weird food. Weird food and kissing.

"Mama?" Daniel asked, holding out his hands for her. Weird food and kissing and children. Hmmm, well at least they weren't headless. Headless children wouldn't have been much fun. "Story?"

Delirium hmmmed thoughtfully, nodding solemnly as she placed the apple bacon fritters into the pan before washing her hands and wandering over to Daniel.

"Have I told you about how I dressed like a bear and stalked Stephen for a day? Do you want me to tell that one?" Del asked smiling when Daniel nodded happily. "Once upon a time there was a Presidential nominee walking through the jungle. His name was Stephen Colbert, award winning reporter and all around American hero. He did not like many things but the thing he disliked most was..."

"Bears!" Daniel and Abby joined in.

"Bears, that's right." Del said smiling fondly, bending down to tell them the rest of the story.

(Thursday Breakfast is apple fritters laced with boar bacon (delicious!), fruit salad and toast. I'd stick to the toast. Tag one, tag all and enjoy deliciousness.)
