Post-Election Party
The election for the new Island Council term were finally finished, and I had the job of posting the results to the Compound bulletin board:

The new Island Council term begins on Wednesday, June 1. There will be a post-election celebration held this evening, May 31st, in and around the Compound.
As always, we had an impressive spread for the party. There was lots of food and drink for everyone, and while post-election parties tended to be less raucous than New Year's Eve or Mardi Gras, I think I preferred them. It was nice to celebrate our community in our own way.
