"You think Jack was kissing me for him? He wasn't. He did it to get to Kate," Juliet says when she opens her eyes again. She blinks slowly, and when James calls her Blondie there's a sort of pang that hits her in the chest, surprising her, not sure where it comes from.
She takes a long time to say anything else, because she wants to say things right which turns into a bit of a tougher situation when you're a little drunk.
"You think. Jack reacts. Which means I'll probably be alive a lot longer with you than I would with him."
Juliet tells James why she was on the other island and how she feels about this one.
