There were few people that House idolized. Alexander Fleming. Sherlock Holmes, maybe. That really awesome physics professor he had at Michigan. And, of course, Rick Wakeman.

He sat down at the piano - something he'd been able to do for longer periods of time now that he was on a steady dose of Vicodin again - and cracked his knuckles. It had taken him forever to pick this out, after listening to "An Evening of Yes" a thousand times in the last 10 years or so. He'd been at that concert, too. He could never dream to make his fingers move that fast, but he could approximate something pretty close to it.

So he started to play. "Merlin the Magician", he thought it was called. Probably because no one could actually play it without some sort of magical intervention.

His hands few over the keys. Rock on.
