During her time at Dunder Mifflin Scranton, Karen had done a lot of stupid things. Moving there just for Jim had been toward the top of the list, as was trying to make herself believe he wasn't really in love with Pam, he just had a crush on her. Still, Jim and Pam had turned into two of her best friends, and she still missed them an incredible amount. Babysitting Sam whenever Veronica could use a break helped alleviate that pain a little, but she still missed them. She couldn't help it.

She'd been swimming in nostalgia ever since hitting her four year mark weeks ago, and Karen could count that as the only reason she was at the bookcase willing it to give her what she wanted. Seeing Jim and Pam again - even if they wouldn't be hers, not really - outweighed any concerns she might have about seeing whatever her future held on screen.

It didn't take too long for Karen to hit the jackpot; an entire shelf of reels, each one labeled 'The Office' showed up.

She only needed half a minute to scan the shelf, fingers running over the tins before one reel stood out above all others: Threat Level Midnight.

"No," Karen breathed, pulling out the reel. She'd forgotten about Michael's 'movie', that entirely ridiculous day of filming he'd put them through. Why she'd done it, Karen couldn't really say. All she knew was that whatever Michael had put together would be one of the worst things she'd ever watch - and, by that virtue alone, one of the most entertaining.
