Her feet moved to the music filtering through the compound from the jukebox. She turned, her skirt billowing out and ringing with the sound of the tiny bells she had sewn on to it. Moving her hips she raised her hands in the air as the twins chirped happily at the sight of their mother dancing and smiling in front of them. Clapping her hands she laughed and kissed Daniel's more serious face again and again until he was laughing and squealing with her.
"Tu saade naal nach, Ni nachleh. Saade samne tu billo raaniye, Ni nachleh. Tere uttay assi jaan vaariye, Ni nachleh. Ni tere pichhay rull jaanviye, Ni nachleh." Del sang along smiling in perfect delight at the twins. She twirled as she slid across the floor to the oven in her cthulhu slippers. And laughed louder as she almost knocked someone over. "Peachy keen! Sorry!"
Slipping back into English she apologised again and felt the words flow over her and wash away. She didn't need words when she danced, her body said everything from the expression on her face to the sway of her hips to the careful placement of her fingers. She was happy. There were bad things but today Del would be happy. She would be happy and she would live her life like her sister would want her to.
Bending, she pulled out the hot bread fresh from the oven and left it on the side with the rest of the breakfast food. Later she would make lollipops and she would stare at the sun and smile and be happy even if she was alone.
"Ma! Ma!" Abby Celia shouted and smiled. "Ance! Ance!"
Well, maybe not quite so alone.
[[OOC: Breakfast is fruit salad, kolaches, fresh bread and for the meat eaters boar sauasages. Later there will be lollipops. Tag in, tag each other! And the song she's listening to is
