It is a beautiful day that the Lord has made.
The Lord has seen fit not to strike Boyd down like he most assuredly deserves, but instead to provide. A mere two months in a perfectly nice cell and he has been released into the care of one Raylan Givens. Perhaps this is a small, so very small way that he is to begin his penance. To bring Raylan Givens closer to God. Granted, so far he has been resistant to Boyd's offerings of wisdom, but there is time. Maybe that is the next step. Time. Boyd is not worthy to ascend directly to God's Holy place and it is through hard work and time that he will reach these many of God's children.
His biggest sign, so far? God has sent him an altar. A fine, wooden altar with a colored glass picture of Jesus's face. Raylan had been resistant to it living in his house with Boyd, so it is waiting back in his old place. Waiting for the time when Boyd will ascend back to the head of that small, rustic church and preach God's word. Before that can happen, though, most fervent prayer is required. Boyd failed God in the most grievous of ways. He put his own emotions and fears before God's Holy command and he must find his way again along the Path of Righteousness.
He has found a spot outside of the Compound to do just that. The sun is warm and welcome on his face after months of so little of it. He sits in a soft patch of grass, Bible in hand, waiting. Just waiting.
[Open to all! Boyd's sitting outside the compound. He's been out for a few days so feel free to assume your pup has or has not seen him around]
