It's the tutu that intrigues him, really. He's only ever seen someone wear one because they were pissed or high or both.

"I mean, we have a dance studio, but we don't have like, an official island ballet company," she said, smiling. "Just a girl in a tutu in the rec room."

"You should start a proper one. You've got all the books for it." He's noticed all the ones on the floor, and for a second can't help but feel a bit jealous that she's managed to get it to give her anything but psychology school books.

"And-- and that's a fuckin' mental rule if you ask me. If someone wants to dance, they should just be able to like... do it, you know? Whether it's on their own or with other people."

And as much as she agreed that most rules were stupid, she still didn't want to end up breaking her toes on her first day.
