She's in the latter now, wearing a tight pair of jeans and a low-cut bright pink sweater, her other various articles having been discarded the second she stepped inside. She's curled up in a chair and flipping idly through some magazine called Glamour - at least it's not Cosmopolitan, this time - and happens to glance up in time to catch some tall drink of water's eye as he asks a question.
"Play what?" she says, not sure what he's talking about for a second, then she catches sight of where he's set up that game on the green table with the balls and the sticks. "Oh, that? No, I have no clue."
She stands and flashes him a dazzling smile. Flirting's always a fun way to pass the time. "Why don't you give me a lesson, handsome?"

"How can I refuse a pretty lady?" he asked, motioning her over. "I happen to be a great teacher."

"Jeff Winger," he replied, his face not betraying his initial surprise. It was one talent he'd honed as a lawyer that was becoming more and more useful lately. "So you've never played at all? I'm only asking so I know where to start."

He picked up the white cue ball, holding it up to her. "This is the white cue ball. It's the one you use to shoot the rest in - except the black eight ball, which goes in last."
With what sounded like an offer to do what he needed to do to teach her, he decided the more hands on approach would work best. With the cue ball back where it was supposed to be for the break shot, he planted his feet in the position they'd usually be in if he were about to take a shot. "Here, I'll help you get into the right shooting stance, first. You'd be surprised how important that is."

"There," he said after an approving glance that probably lingered longer than it ought to have. "Do you want me to show you the right way to hold the cue, too?"
