Carolyn Lam sighed as she tapped her pen on the charts in front of her. She leaned forward, dropping the pen on the desk as she absently flipped through the different papers, making sure all the information was filled out. This was probably one of the worst things about being a doctor. The endless amounts of paperwork. Obviously there were other things, but paperwork was always a killer.

She looked at her watch, and then shook her head. Time really wasn't that big of a deal here. Because it really didn't matter how long it took her to get through her charts. But maybe a break from them. She pushed her chair away from the desk, and glanced around, wondering where to start. Maybe inventory - even though she'd done that when she'd first arrived. She really couldn't think of anything else to do to pass the time, so back to charts it was.

She'd just pulled back up to the desk when she heard the door of the clinic open. Allowing a small smile to slip to her face, she turned her head toward the door. "Morning, what can I do for you?" she asked, obviously pleased for a distraction from the paperwork.
