She’s probably being ridiculous. Somewhere, deep down, Lexie is entirely aware of this, though not enough to question doing so in the first place. The thing about sex with Alex is that it’s exactly that: sex. No feelings, no strings attached, just a way of having fun. After all she’s been through lately, she deserves this, a chance to feel good

It's just a moment and then she sits bolt upright, holding the blankets tight against herself as she turns toward the intruder. This isn't the house in Seattle; they live alone and there's no reason one of her friends might come creeping in here. "What are you doing?" she snaps. "Get out, get o- Lexie? Oh my god." It's entirely possible, in this stupid place, that it's not her at all, but that doesn't even cross her still-waking mind.

"Meredith, thank God," she says on an exhale, still holding the blanket over her chest with one hand, the other reaching for her sister's shoulder. "Do you know what's going on? Because I swear, this isn't like any part of your house I've seen before, and that's definitely where I was a few seconds ago."

"What in the bloody blue blazes is all this?" he spits, bewildered as he roughly pushes himself up, a hand defensively reaching in front of Meredith.

Jerking back from Lexie, she takes Sean's hand. Now that she knows who this is, she's relaxing a little. There's no threat here. It's just irritating. "This is Lexie," she says darkly before it occurs to her that that's not actually an explanation. "My ha- One of my father's other daughters. Lexie, this is my house, it's just a different house. You're not in Seattle anymore. You're on a, a - I can't do this, you need to put on some clothes."

"Believe me, if I had clothes, I would," she says, with a short, dry, unamused laugh. "And I think if there's anyone who needs to know what's going on here, it's me. Meredith, who is this guy? Why are you both - and where am I?"

"You, close your eyes," she tells Sean in a tone which brooks no argument, whether or not any is forthcoming, "close them, and you, you get up. I will lend you something and I will explain, but we are not having a conversation like this. Get, get, get!"

Wrapping it around herself, she slips out of bed, making no effort to hide her irritation with the situation, though this, at least, isn't Lexie's fault. None of it is, but that's beside the point. "In the dresser," she tells her. "Just... take whatever. There's another room over there." She gestures out and to the left with a flick of her wrist. "Get dressed. Then we'll talk."

Clad in a pair of Meredith's jeans and one of her t-shirts, she walks back into the bedroom, standing just inside the doorway and looking fairly horrified as she points behind her. "Why," she says, having to pause to take a deep breath, "is there a jungle outside?"

"It's a long story, Lexie," she sighs. "Or kind of a short one, but complicated and can - can you just - in the living room, please, okay?" She leans over the bed, tugging her shirt down as she kisses Sean quickly, lips twitching into something like a smile as she pulls back. "Join us when you're dressed." She really doesn't want to be alone with this.

"Can we not right now?" she snaps before looking to her half-sister again, mouth set in a line. "Lexie, you're on an island in the middle of nowhere with no way home and no one can tell you how you got here. And you're not dreaming and you're not crazy, this is real life, even if I can't produce a scientific explanation just now, and the sooner you accept you won't wake up and this is happening, the easier this is going to be to deal with, okay?"
