Movie Night Theme Night at The Catscratch Club
During the time the club had been open, Saffron had gotten many a suggestion as to what to do for theme night. Often, the suggestions were movies, something she had done in the past - in fact, the very first theme night had been a movie. It seemed a little restrictive to her, though, in that if she hadn't gone and watched that movie on Lloyd's suggestion she wouldn't have had a clue as to what was going on. So she decided September's theme was going to be just simply Movie Night - any movie, from any time, which was still restricted initially to people who knew what movies were, but was far less limiting than having any one specific movie.
After having seen Alice in Wonderland, Saffron's initial thought was to dress up as Alice, but then she'd caught the clothes box on a good day and had changed her mind when it gave her an absolutely gorgeous Queen of Hearts costume. Amused at the thought of going around and ordering "Off with their heads!", she'd gone with that.
Saffron had enlisted help and the club was decorated to look like a movie theater, with fake buckets of popcorn and handmade movie posters on the walls. The iPods upstairs played movie theme songs between performers, and Saffron mingled on both floors, her skirt swishing as she made her way between tables and made sure everyone was having a good time.
