Karen is watching Mulan again.
Rollie says that she's supposed to stay still and take it easy. It isn't easy, though. Karen's really sick and her body keeps reminding her of that. Last night, she woke up and then she thew up all over her nightie and her bed. Which was very, very upsetting. She'd walked to Shadow's and they'd gotten her cleaned up and into a new nightie and then they'd woken Rollie up.
Rollie had taken her temperature and told her that she probably only had a 'bug'. Which had given Karen the image of a big giant spider trying to eat her head and that just made her cry.
Karen really doesn't feel very well at all.
Rollie had to go to work and Shadow had to give Josie a bath, so they've left her on one of the sofas in the rec-room with a pile of pillows and blankets and Hippo, and she's got a bowl to be sick in and Garm's curled up on her feet.
Which would be very nice if Karen could stop being sick.
Miserably, she looks down at the contents of the bowl and then looks up to find a nearby adult.
"Excuse me. Could you empty this for me, please?"
