At the Catscratch Club -- Evening

Trying to stay low-profile as a tiny Englishwoman shouldn't have been at all challenging, as Roger expected most people could see clear over and around that body without even noticing. It occurred to him as he got up to the bouncer at the door of the Catscratch that he might have a problem, but Annie, too worked there, and he got in with no ( Read more... )

Strange things were afoot again, and since Anatoly had drunk the last of his vodka months ago, it was to the Catscratch he went to try to cope with it all. Roger was very clearly not Roger, and since he didn't know whose body Roger was actually in, it seemed clear that he was going to have to sleep in his hut tonight.

Surrounded by these unappealing thoughts, he settled onto a barstool, barely registering the woman in front of him. "Could I have a vodka, please?"

The sight of Anatoly elated him, and he felt his girly little stomach flap into a million insects at the very sight of him, squirming and flying about as the little fuckers were.

"Well, I'm so happy to see you and that you're... well, you!" He sort of... giggled, forgetting that he wasn't himself, exactly. "It's the vodka that gave it away."

Anatoly looked up in surprise. He tilted his head curiously as he tried to place who she might be - he'd seen her once or twice, he thought, but he couldn't remember her name for the life of him.

But she seemed to know him, and judging everything that was going on, he thought he possibly knew. "Roger?"

"Yes!" Roger exclaimed. He traipsed out from behind the counter, light of foot and excited as all Hell. He wanted nothing more than to jump into Anatoly's arms and kiss him until his head fell off. "I'm sorry I've not been about but things have been... well!" He gestured to Annie's body and then laughed.

Anatoly's first instinct was to pull him into a tight embrace. He held his arms out but he hesitated at first, wondering if he should - whoever this was might not welcome such things...

In the end, his need for comfort won out and he wrapped his arms tightly around Roger. "Whoever is in your body... woke up, took one look at me and screamed as he fled. I - god, I don't even know what I thought but I'm glad you're - you. Relatively speaking."
