During the chaos of the bodyswitching fiasco and the resulting aftermath, Susan had been quite avoiding both her brothers. Edmund, because it was incredibly strange to talk to him in that person's body, and Peter, because she did not want the awkwardness that would come from explaining that she had no idea how she ended up in Jon's body.

But at any rate, now that she was back in her normal self and most importanly, feeling like her normal self, she began to wonder just where Peter was. She hadn't begun to actively seek him out until going an entire day without seeing him, at which point she began to get worried. Thinking perhaps he might have taken ill (it wasn't as though there wasn't something going around, she thought, recalling how miserable Sirius Black had appeared to feel when she'd met him just a few days previously), she ventured into the men's dormitory to see if perhaps he was too ill to get out of bed. (Which wasn't like him at all, but on this island, apparently anything was possible).

She didn't see him there. But what she did notice was a distinct lack of any of Peter's few possessions, including his shield and crown, which he didn't regularly carry with him and normally left in the dormitory. There was no indication that Peter was here; it was as if he had never even been here at all.

Immediately, Susan knew something was wrong. It wasn't as though this was anything conclusive in and of itself, and in another case she might have merely frowned and looked somewhere else, but somehow she knew this was not right.

Her first instinct was to find Edmund and Lucy.

[ooc: locked to Susan, Lucy and Edmund please.]
