Tonight's dinner was relatively simple: pizza.
While all the pizzas had the same freshly baked crust (the first looked terrible but tasted just fine; Susan put that aside to take home for later because it looked too atrocious to actually serve to anyone), simple tomato sauce, and cheese, some pizzas were topped with boar meat sausage and some with pineapple, and some were simply topped with a little extra cheese. Susan had also set out various ingredients with which one could make one's own salad: lettuce, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, onions, and a light, spicy dressing she'd come across in a recipe book from the bookshelf.
Helen slept most of the time that Susan was cooking, and when she wasn't sleeping, she was quite happy to suck on her thumb and watch Rickon, who had filled one corner of the kitchen with a mess of blocks, colouring books, crayons, and biscuit crumbs. At one point, Susan had to stop cooking and dissuade Rickon from scribbling on the kitchen cabinets with a red crayon, making him help her clean up his mess before giving him a time-out in the playpen for a bit while she resumed cooking.
[ooc: help yourself to pizza and salad. :) tag Susan, tag each other!]
