"Sam!"
She knew this day would come, but it seems too early. He's still so little and she should have more time to prepare, mentally and strategically. It shouldn't be this way. She's supposed to have more time.
There's just no way Sam should be able to unclip his leash already.
It's like every bad made for TV movie Kate's ever seen. She only left him for a minute. He was in the yard, with the dog. He was firmly clipped to the porch. This is a sign from above that she is never going to be able to leave house, ever again. He's too mobile and she can't watch him all the time. And maybe she's not the only single mother in the world but most of them don't have to worry about their children being eaten by dinosaurs. He's not at Duck and Geoffrey's and he's not at the rec center and she has lost her child.
So far hysterical tears are being held in check only by a burning anger and total freakout. She can't find her little devil child if she's crying so she isn't crying. Period. She keeps screaming his name, wandering up and down the path and trying not to think too much about where he could be if he headed into the jungle. She hates this place sometimes. She hates that it took her husband and she hates that as a result she has to massively fail at parenting all by herself and she would have a complete meltdown except that wouldn't help find her son.
"Sam Crew!"
[ooc: Open to all. Someone come help the hysterical lady find her kid. Feel free to find him wherever you please. Hanging out in the jungle, wandering the path, contemplating the waterfall. He's 17 months old, brown hair, about two feet tall.]
