Laundry was a chore Xander was starting to enjoy on the island. It was simple, not really requiring any effort and kinda reminded him of home in that he lived in the basement of his parents' house with a washer and a dryer. Perhaps it was a weird thing to have as a comforting reminder of home, but there were very few that he had of the house he grew up in so he'd take it.
In fact, it was a sign that Xander was feeling better that he was actually thinking of home. Oh, he wasn't in tip top Xandery form, especially after the current island invasion of newly turned human vampires, but yelling at the new Spike for the sins of the old Spike had made him feel better. He still lived in fear of when Spike found out why Xander had yelled so passionately at him on his arrival, but he knew of many places to hide when it happened so he wasn't too worried.
Not worried enough to completely let his guard down as he folded laundry while a second load spun in the dryer. He'd borrowed one of the Ipods from the Catscratch to find a new song for another new routine. Being the only male stripper left, he felt like he needed more routines to provide variety. Sure he'd built up enough over the years but something new wouldn't hurt right? So, shaking his hips with earbuds in his ears, Xander was completely absorbed with the music and his laundry to the point of being oblivious to what was going on around him.
[[Scooby in the laundry room. He'll probably freak out when your pup gets his attention but he's in a happy mood for the first time in a long time. All T's more then welcome as I come off my hiatus!]]
