Sarah left the building at a leisurely pace, picking a direction at random. Ostensibly she was seeking the newspaper to offer her services, but she was just as happy to wander and get a feel for the island and a sense of where things were. The day was just as gorgeous as the day she had arrived, and she couldn't help but wonder if it stayed this way always. However gazing upon the lush vegetation, she had to reject that theory. Perhaps it only rained at night. Or perhaps there were periodic violent storms. There was still so much she didn't know about this place.
As she walked she occupied herself by trying to guess what each building was for or who lived there. She couldn't draw any conclusions from this, except that she might like to get to know some of the people who lived in them.
Bright blue sky and a good night's sleep made such a difference.
Sarah is wandering about the town area randomly with no clear idea of where she's going. Feel free to tell her she's headed in the wrong direction to find the newspaper office (or that she's found the newspaper office), strike up a conversation, throw something at her, have a pet wander up or whatever.
