Thursday Breakfasts were pretty well known on the island. The kitchen was usually filled with loud sounds, delicious smells, disgusting (or nice) foods to taste and a whole array of things to entice the senses. Breakfast was chaos, which wasn't surprised considering the cook was the anthropomorphic personification of Insanity. But not today, today there was silence in the kitchen. Silence and... Delirium waving underwear around on wooden spoons.
Staring at the twins, Delirium looked at her two children in frustration as she finished her routine of shapes with her arms outstretched. The twins, who thought this was a great game, simply giggled and laughed at their mother watching in fascination as she contorted into weird arm positions. Sighing, Delirium placed the stolen underwear on the table and began to tap out a rhythm for them. The problem with having young children was that when you tried to tell them to fetch someone, they tended to just laugh. Or in Daniel's case make clapping sounds which almost sounded like S-O-S but not quite.
Opening her mouth to scream, nothing came out as the small Endless threw a tantrum. Slamming the muffins on to the table, Delirium stomped her feet and slammed her hands on the table. Turning to narrow her mismatched gaze at someone coming in to eat, Delirium grabbed a pen and began to write furiously on a piece of paper.
diD yOU stEAL mY VOiCE. yOU eViL voicE stEALEr!
Delirium punctuated the note with a flourish from her makeshift semaphore flags. She still wasn't sure whose underwear they were but they weren't hers. Del didn't tend to wear any let alone ones with lace.
[[OOC: This is your Thursday breakfast post. This morning's culinary delights are English breakfast muffins, home made jam, tea, boar bacon, scrambled eggs and fruit salad. Implements of communication are scattered around for those affected.]]
