Robin was starting to wonder if maybe the Island that they all lived on wasn't a little psychic. It would explain a lot. It'd definitely give a good reason as to why she got a gun right before she was dumped. And technically she wasn't because technically you couldn't get dumped by a person being physically removed from a hunk of rock, but it still kinda felt like she'd been screwed over.
She had two rounds of bullets that she was going to use and her gun and she had the right to bear arms, damn it. She kept a steady grip on the gun, didn't let her hands waver at all even though she was actually upset enough that a part of her (that very small tiny part of her that was emotional) wanted to cry.
When the hell did her life turn into this mess? She squeezed the trigger and let loose a bullet right into the waiting body-scroll, bearing three bulletholes already. "I am not going to lose it," she informed herself, reloading for another shot. "I am okay. I'm not going to let myself get all emotional about this!" she added angrily, shooting once more and letting the gun fall to her side as she let out a long breath and let it drop to the ground.
Ray, okay, she could deal with over time because she was strong like that. She'd even heard that Heather was gone, which sucked more for Wanda than her, but a hockey-friend had been pretty nice for a while. The real kicker had been Barney, though. It was a little harder to process, especially considering her fight with Lewis. It was like she had a nice little wound and the universe wanted to rub a good amount of salt into said wound.
She leaned over for the gun and halfway through her movement gave up on the notion of picking it up. Instead, she went down to it, collapsing against the tree trunk and taking a deep breath. "Damn it," she muttered under her breath, pressing her heel to her cheek to apply just enough pressure to try and keep herself under control.
