If Wednesday didn't know better, she would've thought the island had sent her home for her island-versary. Actually, she didn't know better, and so when the graveyard appeared just behind her hut, full of mossy old graves and dead flowers and illuminated by the full moon, she made a very thorough investigation before determining that she hadn't, in fact, been deposited back on the Addams estate.
That grave in the back, though, the one with the name clawed off...she still wasn't entirely certain that didn't belong to her Uncle Malvin, and it would just figure that the one person who finally showed up from her family was already dead.
Even if it wasn't home, though, it felt like home, and so Wednesday got a picnic blanket and a good book and set herself up with food and entertainment right in the middle of the graveyard, just as the fog rolled in.
Her night got even better when the ground started rippling next to her and a hand began to emerge from one of the graves.
