"There it is, Puck -- Tamarind Island! Home!"
Heather Hudson soars through the air, a vision of scarlet and ivory against the clear sky, her friend and teammate Eugene Judd suspended securely from her arms. Mansion Alpha stands in the distance, nestled between the native trees of British Columbia, a comforting presence even after such a short time away. Its familiarity is undercut by the strange plane parked in front of it, however -- a yellow, single engine Cessna. Underneath her visor, Heather's brows furrow in confusion. Who could it be? she wonders, even as Judd leans forward, threatening to dislodge himself as he gestures towards the source of her curiosity. Instinctively, she adjusts her grip. They're still above the water, and as he only just reminded her moments before, he's not protected by her suit. A fall from this height could very well kill him.
"And judging by that seaplane moored at our dock," he replies over the sound of the rushing wind, "we've got visitors!"
With a renewed burst of speed they approach land, the pathway leading up to the mansion quickly stretching beneath them. As the front door draws nearer, Judd wrenches himself free from Heather's grasp, eliciting from her a small cry of surprise: "Puck...?!" Still airborne, she watches wordlessly as he uses his short stature to his advantage, cartwheeling past the battery of sensors that identify him as Puck of Alpha Flight, Canada's premier -- and only -- super-team. She follows shortly after him, landing lightly with learned precision on the porch. The door is still partially swung open from his display, and she presses a hand against the solid wood, pushing it forward without hesitation, a greeting on the tip of her tongue...
...a greeting that's soon enough forgotten in the face of an entirely foreign place.
"Puck...?" she says again, improbably calmer than the first time, as she takes in her new and frankly unexpected surroundings. Wherever she's found herself, now, it's certainly not Canada. "Hello?"
