Despite the most recent blow to his mental health, Geoffrey feels ready for this. He feels more than ready for this, in fact. It's been too long since the last one, and he's itching to direct again. And so before anything can happen to put it off again, he writes up a notice and tacks it up on the bulletin board.

Bran has a feeling that by this point Geoffrey already knows he's going to show up for these things, but writes his name down anyway, just in case. "I hoped we'd do this one," he admits. "It's one of my favourites. Possibly the favourite, I haven't thought it through quite that much."

"Next to The Tempest, it's probably the most appropriate to the island, don't you think?" says Geoffrey. "And honestly, it's just fun."

"It's brilliant," Bran agrees, "if a little cracked. And it's been ages since we last did a show."

"I know," says Geoffrey, feeling a little guilty for it, but at the same time glad he took the time to focus on his family for a little while. "But I'm sure we'll get right back in the swing of things, right?"

[branbach]

"Oh, it is all right," Bran assures him, catching a glimpse of the guilty look. "You can't be everywhere at once after all. But it's good to see that notice go up again, all the same."

"It feels good to be putting it up," says Geoffrey. A little intimidating, but good all the same. "Do you know who you'll be auditioning for?"
