As far as Tonks had been able to calculate, she was due within the week... and it couldn't come soon enough for her. It was getting increasingly difficult to deal with Teddy when she was having to waddle around, and her back was killing her.
In the kitchen, she made herself a sandwich while Teddy sat on the floor at her feet with a sippy cup. When the baby kicked her hard, she looked down at her giant belly and sighed. "You're about ready to get out here too, right? Seriously, any time is fine. Don't wait on account of me."
"Cookie!"
Tonks sighed. "Teddy, darling, I just gave you a - "
She looked over her shoulder. The sippy cup was on the floor and her son was naked.
"Teddy!" She groaned and set down the half-finished sandwich, managing with some difficult to crouch down without toppling over. "Do we need to have another discussion about how you're not to take off your clothes?"
"Cookie," he said.
"You can't have another cookie unless you're wearing clothes," she said.
He scrunched his face up as if considering, and she took the opportunity of his momentary distraction to start trying to yank his clothes back on as he wiggled in her grip.
