Johnny Storm's experienced weird, and the past week? Not it.
Well, it's normal weird, like Peter'd explained, but it isn't Fantastic Four weird, and that's all that really counts. In the macroverse one minute and on an island the next? Been there. Unconscious for days and had adventures all in his mind? Done that. (Though the Jersey part was new. Nobody willingly goes to Jersey.)
The point is, Johnny's learned to take everything life gives him in stride. Once you've been a herald of Galactus, things kinda get put in perspective -- which is just a different way of saying don't worry, be happy. Johnny can do that. Easily. What's there to worry about when Reed Richards is his brother-in-law? All Johnny has to do is wait it out and soon he'll be back home.
Waiting it out is good in theory, but in practice...it kinda sucks.
There are options to waste his time, but sometimes even Johnny Storm needs some down time. Too bad this place seems to be nothing but down time, if being forced to sleep for two days is any indication. There's no way Johnny's spending another evening indoors until he's ready to hit the sack.
Except, as he stands out in front of the compound taking in the sights, he isn't sure what he wants to do. If this were Manhattan, Johnny'd call up some friends and hit a few clubs. But this place isn't Manhattan, that's painfully obvious.
He's almost desperate enough to search out Pete for some company.
