"And that ends our broadcast day. Good night, Tabula Rasa," Mark said, then shut the equipment down for the night. He had some maintenance to do and he'd stayed up until they went off the air so he could take care of it. Most everyone was in bed, so he didn't need to worry about interrupting anyone's show and the only one who had something after midnight was Maureen...and that wasn't for a few days.

Mark ran through his check list, making sure the aging equipment was all in fine working order. It wasn't difficult, but it was necessary and he'd noticed that Neil was often busy elsewhere and so was Roger...it only made sense that he'd continue to do as he'd done and be responsible for the equipment that was a source of information and entertainment for the place he thought of as his home now.

"Good night and good luck," he muttered as he closed everything up and put away his tools. Any time he did this and didn't get zapped, he considered it a success. He finished the last of his cold coffee and looked up when he heard someone approaching. He didn't think he'd been making a lot of noise, but anything was possible.

"Sorry, it's down for the night," he said before he even registered who it was.

[He's done with the fixing and the radio is off. ST/LT welcome!]
