Wednesday had been ignoring the situation for as long as she could, but 'as long as she could' didn't turn out to be forever. There did come a point where these things could not be neglected anymore, and ultimately Wednesday was the pragmatic sort; she wasn't going to make a big fuss about it.

Instead, one day after school was finished for the term and she had nothing pressing to do, she fortified herself and headed down into the basement of the compound to the clothing box.

She knew the box wasn't going to make this easy for her.

She had been faithful in her offerings to the island, but that meant sacrificing the givings of the clothing box and she didn't expect the clothing box took kindly to that. And Wednesday had no doubt the clothing box - along with the jukebox, the bookshelf and the island itself - was sentient, and thus quite capable of a vendetta. She'd certainly seen enough pink dresses in her time on the island to know the truth.

She even respected that about them.

This time she wasn't looking for dresses, though. This time she needed to find a proper bra, and this was a task she expected might take an entire afternoon of searching.
