Karen's making cards.

Somebody was talking about it being Father's Day today while she was having breakfast, and Karen had forgotten which made her feel a little bit sick, but it's okay because Mrs Charlie gave her the stuff to make cards, so now she's making two. This is the second pair that she's tried; ShorHor ate most of Shadow's the first time.

This time, Karen's being careful to keep the cards well out of the reach of the little tiny horse with a suspicious amount of pink glitter around his mouth.

On the card that she's making for Rollie, Karen carefully outlines a (slightly off-centre, crooked) heart in glue and then sprinkles blue glitter over it. She thought about making it pink but she's pretty sure that Rollie would like it better blue.

...On second thoughts, she adds a sprinkle of pink glitter anyway. She likes it with the two colours.

Carefully, she lifts up the card and blows the excess glitter off it. It settles on her face and hair and she blinks it out of her eyelashes before reaching for a felt-tip pen.

She has to think about what to write.

"Ummm...Excuse me?" she says to the person standing closest to her, reaching out with one glittery hand to make sure that she has their attention. "How do you spell 'father'?"

ooc: one very glittery six year old at work in the rec-room. One very glittery little horse will be marauding.
