God, it was a beautiful day outside. Chuck had woken up bright and early, with the sun almost, though in his bed in the compound he couldn't actually have known that. Usually he wasn't up and about until 11 or so, but it felt so good to be up early today that he couldn't imagine why. In fact, he thought he'd make it a part of the daily routine. The run - well, all right, jog - that he'd taken that morning, that had been a good idea too. He'd always told Nate it was weird that had been getting up and out so early to run, but now Chuck understood; in fact, he thought he'd apologize for it the next time he saw him, just to make sure things were cool with them. Afterward he'd come back to the compound, showered and dressed, although he hadn't spent as long as usual on his hair; what was the point, when you thought about it? A little tousle was fine by him - this was a tropical island, after all. A t-shirt and track pants completed the outfit, and he'd been ready to face the day.
Now the sun was high, the weather was gorgeous, and he just felt great. He'd checked out the games closet in the compound - mark down another thing he'd never thought to do before, and how weird was that? - hoping for a basketball, but a soccer ball seemed like the best he'd be able to do. Well, that was okay, too; it was all being out in the sunshine, right? He only hoped that one of his friends would stop by soon - a pretty day was nice, and all, but without someone to share it with, well. It just wasn't the same.
[Find Chuck near the compound, enjoying the sunshine. He's really, really excited to see his friends but absolutely everyone is welcome. ST for a while while I'm at work, but after that I'm around for the entirety of tonight and the next two days. LT fine too.]
