Vala and Spike lay in bed and actually talk for a while. He's reluctant to acknowledge the child might be his and so he ignores it and she is more interested in actually listening to him talk about his past than worrying about who the father may be. It really doesn't atter as long as he's playing with her hair and telling her about murder and history.

Vala meets Joe one morning as she's leaving Logan's. True or not, she lets Joe believe the baby is Logan's. They talk for a bit and she considers the importance of extended family...or not...and Joe fills her in on Canada, curling, and a few other things that every alien ought to know.
