The island's impromptu gift of flavored coffees had been greatly appreciated. There were only enough for just about two glasses per flavor of coffee, but there were more than enough variations to keep mornings interesting.

She'd already had the variation of chocolate coffee of the day today.

For the moment, she chose to relax at the table in New Atlantis, paging through a novel the bookcase had offered her. For the most part, the bookcase continued to offer her readable material, but as of late it seemed intent on offering her primarily children's books. Today it had offered an array of political and science fiction novels. Perhaps she was feeling nostalgic today.

New Atlantis was comfortable, and the island had just enough variety to remind her of Atlantis itself at times. It could be a home, and perhaps she was adjusting to see this temperamental place as home. There was a measure of adventure that she yet missed from Atlantis, but this was not such a bad place to settle into after all.
