you can take the girl out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the girl

"Roads go ever on and on..." Patricia McFarland sang quietly to herself, making up some of the words and half remembering others though she couldn't recall where the song was from.

She lay on her stomach on top of a sleeping bag inside a little pup tent reading with a stack of books and journals at her elbow and a rucksack with what looked like a fishing pole sticking out of it. She waved her feet back and forth behind her and as she read.

It was the first time, aside from fishing with Joe and Web, that she'd taken a second look at the stuff that had shown up on her bed in the Children's room about a week ago. A little tent and a sleeping bag when she was pretty terrified to be outside on even the lit boardwalk at night? It was a scary thought. But then the books hooked her and so did everything else. The more she read, the more she remembered that she really did like the woods and animals and things. So here she was, breaking everything in. It wasn't so bad during the day.

As a shadow fell over her, Trisha peered up and grinned. "Do you like my tent? It's okay that it's here right?"

[Find her anywhere off of the main path. She's not too far into the trees so your pup will be able to see the tent as they pass. All tags welcome.]
