It didn't seem like a very different day when I woke up that morning, but glancing over I quickly realized there was something sitting by where I was sleeping that I was relatively certain hadn't been there before. I put on my glasses blinking a few times before reaching for the two items. No, they definitely hadn't been there before. The sketch book was empty and the supplies looked brand new as well. There wasn't any explanation for why they were there, but they had my name on them so I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to just to enjoy them. I decided the best way to do that was to go down to the beach.

It had been a while since I had sketched. Now that I thought about it the last time had been when I had given Neil that picture of him. I found a comfortable tree and leaned against it as I started to draw this area of the beach. The waves were the hardest part, but so far the picture seemed to be turning out okay. I didn't realize how much time had passed until I realized that the sun was starting to set. I wasn't ready to leave though and the picture was almost finished anyway so I kept working.
