Joey Potter was not what one would call well adjusted to life on this island. She spent most of her time holed away, sometimes talking to Pacey but mostly alone. However, growing up near the creek she knew that when the weather was hot the best place to be was near the water. So Joey Potter threw on the coolest outfit she had and braved the society that she'd been avoiding so carefully.
There was a scowl in place as she walked on the beach, letting the water cool her off as her newly acquired sundress stuck to her skin. Joey Potter, ever the tomboy, hated the pretty feminine dresses that she kept receiving and felt that she would kill someone for a simple pair of denim shorts.
With determination and a touch of rebellion, Joey Potter mentally said the hell with it as she ran into the ocean, sticky sundress and all.
