There was a small kid wandering down the path in a towel. Josh blinked for a moment, then shook his head. "You look like you need some clothes." He'd run across more than then normal share of kids running around, and it wasn't hard to figure out that Halloween had made more than a few people miniature for the day. He wasn't sure he knew the kid at ANY size, but it was still worth noting that he could use some pants.

"Well spotted, Earthman," Ix said, clapping enthusiastically. It was nice to see the humans hadn't gotten over their adorable little habit of stating the obvious just because he happened to wake up in a new body. It annoyed him, but life just wouldn't be the same without it. And just because the obvious was stated didn't mean that Ford had to pay any attention to it. Clothes were for ape-descendants.

Josh's eyebrows slid upward, his mouth quirked in a smile. "Earthman?" He shrugged. Okay, right, whatever. "Why don't we head to the compound to get you some clothes."

"What if I don't want any?" Ix asked, planting both hands on his towel clad hips, jutting his lips in a childish pout. Hell, he knew he could get away with it. He was a damn adorable kid after all. "Hoopy froods like me aren't bound by your earthly ideas of fashion. Or decency."
