After an impromptu conversation about love and non-exclusivity with Morgan, Cameron takes the realization that the non-exclusivity wasn't just a trial phase...badly.
Dani Reese offers a unique, sarcastic perspective on things and island high tides, and suggests Cameron find an outlet for stress. Whether that be alcohol, pool, or something else. Cameron turns her down on all accounts.
[OOC: Rated PG-13 for Reese-language, insanity, and for mentions of comfort sex]
Vala abandons an impromptu campfire, and interrupts his contemplation. The conversation quickly turns from him to Vala's troubles with Daniel, and her experiences on Ver Isca. Cameron appreciates the opportunity to be a good team leader and help. In the end, they decide its too cold to stay out, fizzled campfire or not.
[OOC: G-PG for hugs, complaints about monkeys, and mentions of huts badly in need of soundproofing.]
Mohinder Suresh finds Cameron, and violates his determination not to speak to him ever again over the football incident. There is dancing around the subject, mutual weirding-out, and a brief discussion of Morgan versus Eostre and conventional relationships. Little gets done, but Cameron appreciates the effort.
[OOC: G-PG for mentions of Daniel Jackson's sexual fantasies, and Suresh's lack of them.]
Daniel Jackson goes looking for a missing teammate, and finds him on the beach. Little is said, but while Cameron won't listen to anything against Morgan, he's more than up for a bit of ascended griping. In the end, Cameron won't forget that Jackson was there for a teammate when they needed him. Even if he was a blunt about it.
[OOC: G, for general complaining. Thread still in progress.]
Jill Langston offers an umbrella. They wonder about a mystic island drain for the excess water. Jill discerns that Morgan is the source of Cameron's issues, but despite convincing arguments, only receives a cursory answer. Rather than pushing the subject, Jill offers coffee in the Compound. Cameron is perfectly willing to cooperate.
[OOC: G, possibly still in progress?]
Jo Grant discusses the weather and offers her own brand of reassurance. Somehow the conversation turns to forehead wrinkles and complicated island relationships. In the end, Jo convinces him to come in out of the rain--and tells him to stop picking at all the negatives in situations.
Names have yet to be exchanged.
[OOC: They talk about the weather, twenty-one year olds with wrinkles, and men eating cardboard hats. It doesn't get much more G than that.]
Morgan knows exactly where to find Cameron and why. She attempts to make things better, and explains that she is not simply the Morgan of Kansas that Cameron knows. In the end, Cameron chooses to go home, rather than continue the conversation. The conversation only serves to make things worse between them.
[OOC: PG, for a few light adult themes, and a whole lotta sulking.]
Zack comes across Cameron, and surprises the both of them. They talk about the virtues of rain and sunshine in perspective of military efficiency. They do not talk about the real reason Cameron is out. At all. Cameron appreciates the silent company anyway.
[OOC: G, for conversations about the weather and military strategies]
Austin the T-1000 deflects conversation about unfortunate leather, and pries with killing machine efficiency about the reason he found Cameron in the rain. Upon mostly failing, and briefly being offended, Austin decides the best course of action is to punch the brooding out of Cam. This threat in mind, Cameron reluctantly explains the situation better.
Austin has his own special take on relationship advice.
[OOC: G-PG for a frustrated Terminator and threatened violence. And also emotional clobbering.]
Wanda Langkowski tries her hand at figuring Cam out, and determines that his situation might not be as bad as he seems to think. Cameron is somewhat doubtful that your typical Kansas boy shares thought patterns with Canadian boys.
[OOC: Currently G, for talk of flooding islands, cultural differences, and picket fences. In Progress]
[OOC: The thread is still open for tags, if there was anyone you'd intended to tag into it. All threads are dated 10/03]

After a week of tension, avoidance, and resentment, things come to a head in the evening after the football game. There is an almost-fight, and Cameron and Morgan finally work things out...with the acknowledgment that Morgan can be both the Ascended Ancient and the woman of the island, and the hope that perhaps one day, the relationship will resemble something more traditional.
Cameron takes this chance to ask her to the upcoming ball, and she, unsurprisingly, says yes.
[OOC: PG-PG13 for meaningless fighting, melodramatics, and copious make-up...ing. In Progress. Dated 10/10]
