You're On Notice
Coraline rolled over to press cold feet against Adam's legs. Except those weren't Adam's legs at all not unless his legs had gained fur. Coraline opened her eyes and let out a manly squeal at the sight of a rather large dog trying to suffocate and squash her. Coraline fell out of the bed and looked around her blearily. Rubbing her eyes she tried to focus. This wasn't her room. She'd been kidnapped!
Wandering towards the door, she pried it open and peered out. Coraline was preparing to proclaim the world to be on notice when she realised something else. She was an awful lot taller. And her arms were different. And her hair was cut off. And those weren't her feet. At all. She'd been kidnapped and something else had happened. Running to the toilet she stared at her reflection in horror.
She was going to get whoever had done this to her. They knew who they were, and they knew they were going to get it. Especially the Other Coraline. She was sneaky and underhanded and had stolen her body out from under her. Cain wouldn't be fooled by her interloper and neither would Adam, okay maybe Adam because for a spy he wasn't that spyriffic he was more like spy-lite but someone would notice. And then they'd get her. And the bears. The bears were evil too. Evil, godless creatures.
But first she needed to find Adam or Cain and have a hug and then she'd be fine. Except not in a GAY way because she wasn't GAY. At all. And the idea of liking MEN was just disgusting and wrong and why was it making her tummy weird? Moving on to a more interesting segment.
Coraline would defeat the evil Other Coraline. She knew she would because she was awesome. With added awe. If she had a theme song then maybe she would be better equipped to deal with the evil Other Coraline or maybe a gun. She liked guns. Guns were good. And people would give her a gun because she looked manly and old. And oh god what if she was stuck like this forever.
"Island! You're on Notice," Coraline declared loudly. This wasn't what she had meant when she had said she wanted to grow up.
